Uganda Birding Adventure: 14-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe & Briefing
Morning:
- Arrival in Entebbe
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by your birding guide and transferred to your hotel in Entebbe for overnight stay.
Afternoon:
- Briefing on Birding Tour
Get a briefing on your upcoming birding adventure. You’ll also have a chance to rest and adjust to the new time zone.
Evening:
- Leisure time
If time allows, take a stroll around Entebbe Botanical Gardens, which is a great introduction to Uganda’s birdlife, home to species like Red-chested Sunbird and Nile Valley Sunbird.
Day 2: Birding in Entebbe & Transfer to Mabamba Wetlands
Morning:

Birdwatching at Entebbe Botanical Gardens
Start your birding tour in Entebbe at the Entebbe Botanical Gardens, known for its diverse bird species such as African Jacanas, Purple Herons, and Red-chested Sunbirds.

Transfer to Mabamba Wetlands
After lunch, head to Mabamba Wetlands on the shores of Lake Victoria. This location is famous for the rare Shoebill Stork.
